With 25 years of experience working with diverse populations, across 20 schools and 5 organizations, I have provided art coaching - in creative writing and cartooning - to artists of all ages. My approach to strengthening artists is to start with content that brings them joy and confidence. Through exploring this material we identify opportunities for creative problem solving, skill building, and abstract thinking. This process guarantees a student-centered learning experience that allows them to apply technique to areas of interest in engaging ways.
